About Camp Ashreinu

Camp Ashreinu began with a simple but powerful idea: create a summer where children feel happy, cared for, and excited to grow in a Torah-true environment. Founded in 1995 by Mrs. Ellen Pollock, Camp Ashreinu has been an integral part of the Cincinnati community, giving generations of campers fun-filled days they look forward to all year.
From a child’s very first camp day as a toddler to their older years filled with activities, trips, and non-stop action, Camp Ashreinu has always been about creating great days that leave a lasting impact. Over the years, dedicated leadership and caring staff have shaped a camp culture built on warmth, positivity, and strong role models.
That vision continued under the leadership of Rabbi Shai and Tova Scherer, who helped guide Camp Ashreinu through many meaningful summers, building on its strong foundation and spirit.
Today, that same heart and energy move the camp forward, led by Mrs. Suzi Goodman, with pride in its past and excitement for the summers ahead.
